Jeffery Kilduff writes his debut novel with Out of Place. He was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada and currently makes his home in Kamloops, BC. He has been a graphic designer for nearly three decades. Jeffery is married to his beautiful wife, Pamela and they have a fur baby named Zöna.

Ben Forrester is awakened in his bed by the screaming of his wife. Inexplicably, she seems to not know who he is. His kids, friends, even his dog all act like they’ve never seen him before. He is thrown out of his home and is forced to change his whole life, living in a shelter, on the streets, and eating at soup kitchens.
Haunting his nightmares is a mysterious figure who appears to delight in his pain and taunts him and his family.
His world has been, not only turned upside down, but taken away from him.
Confounded, Ben embarks on a journey to figure out what is going on. Through his exploration, he meets people who seem to want to help him, but are they friends or foes?
